Professional speaker, inspirer, and entrepreneur, SHE-O of Science Yourself, No G’s About It, informal education programs. Her mission is to make space education accessible for underserved communities and to support educators. Space is for everyone!

Dianea’s background:

Awarded the Johnson Space Centre Houston, Cheri Brinley, Outstanding Educators Award at the SEEC conference in February 2023.

In February 2021, she was selected as a member of the elite SEEC CREW team at the Johnson Space Center’s Space Exploration Educator’s Conference. As a SEEC CREW member, she serves as a lead STEM educator in the province of Quebec, working in collaboration with other CREW members from around the globe.

A recognized and highly regarded, DKG International and ISF Speaker.

In her youth, she wanted to be a scientist and a pilot. Having been turned down for her gender and her race, she has spent the remainder of her life erasing the word "no" and motivating youth through the power of "yes!" Her priority is to get the word out that the space industry is for all youth, regardless of their culture, ethnicity, and race.

A former English classroom teacher and consultant for the International Studies Program at the Lester B. Pearson School Board. After graduating from McGill University, she began her teaching career at Tarsakallak School in Aupaluk, Nunavik.

Extensive career paths! Focal Point for Collaboration, 21st century, whole school design program, consultant with the Centre for Educational Excellence ( CEE), Space Day organizer/presenter, aerospace educator, professional storyteller, founder of the Montreal Storytellers’ Guild, certified youth and adult Life Coach, outgoing president of DKG Quebec, and president of the Montreal Aviation Museum’s Education Committee.

A certified Zero-G, Weightless Flights educator, having completed five student experiments while in flight. She is also a Space Camp Alabama alumnus.

The sole Canadian Principal Investigator with Magnitude.io. Through her program and in collaboration with Canadian classrooms, her work has seen students researching solutions for food insecurities through ExoLab missions.

Dianea connects individuals, communities, classrooms, and educators across the globe, uniting and supporting them as they build STEM/STEAM in their educational environments. (Brazil, Thailand, Mexico, the Philippines, the UK, Costa Rica, and the USA). The first Canadian educator involved with NASA SPARX, an international program

She has provided more than 30+ years of presentations and workshops at JSCH (Johnson Space Center Houston) and has trained over 25,000+ educators during her career.

Dianea is proud to support Stardust Festival 2023, under the leadership of CEO Jason Michaud, as the "Discovery Space-STEM Coordinator."
